This morning before church, Josh and I were sharing our Sunday morning cinnamon rolls and flipping through the TV channels. We get 10 channels because we're too cheap to pay for regular cable. One of those happens to be the gospel channel. As we passed it, Josh flipped it back and said, "Oh my gosh! Do you know who that is?"
Well, I have the musical IQ of zero. I know the words to most songs, but I generally have no clue who sings them. Seeing as how this was gospel music and these guys were in a church, my chances weren't very good.
I admit that I have no idea, so he tells me it's the Oak Ridge Boys. He said, "I didn't know they sang gospel."
"Yeah," I said, "I saw them in concert when I was 10...they've always sang gospel."
His reponse: "Well, then who's Elvira?"
He was totally kidding, but I cracked up laughing! For the record, I didn't mean that they sang exclusively gospel music!

Oh that's just classic. Give us a call this week if you get lonely. You can hang with my wife while I slave away in the basement.
