Merry Merry Christmas!

Time to do a little "catch up" blogging. I have lots of pics to post from Christmas, but after seeing Rich and Heather's professional shots of our New Year's Eve bash at the Bergthold's, mine don't look so great anymore! ;) Oh well, here they are anyway

Last year I didn't get a single pic of Josh and I together at Christmas, so I made sure that was the first one taken this year! We spent the first part of Christmas Eve at my dad's house...

Daddy trying to catch some candid shots with his new Nikon D40

Jenny and Pam...love this pic!

Me, Daddy and Zac (my brother)

Daddy, Pam, and Maggie (she did not really like the hat, but we tried!)

Zac getting some love from my babies (Linus and Lucy)

Maggie with her reindeer antlers...hilarious!

We spent the latter part of Christmas Eve at my Nana's house for our annual celebration with my Dad's side of the family. This pic is Zac and I with my Great Aunt Maude.

Zac, Daddy and I with my Nana!

Aunt Maude with all her great nieces and nephews

Nana with all her grandchildren (6) and great-grandchildren (6)

I tried to convince Jay to take a picture with me, and she refused. When I had someone take a picture of "just me" she snuck in at the last minute. What a stinker! I just love her!

Ellie wanted me to catch her mid-cartwheel...we tried about 10 times and this was the best shot I got. My goal for 2009 is to have an awesome camera (um...and to remodel my house), so maybe I'll get a better pic next year!

Jay and Mollee styling my hair...I had to outlaw the rubber bands :)

Josh got a Camp Rock CD from my Aunt Kay...he was making fun of Jay and Mollee on their birthdays for getting all kinds of Camp Rock stuff, and he kept saying "Ooh, that's just what I always wanted!" So when Kay drew his name at Christmas, she stuck in that CD as a joke. Love it!

We stayed with Josh's mom and dad (Larry and Vicki) over Christmas because my Dad and Pam left Christmas day to spend a long weekend in Cancun. All I have to say is, can a girl get cut in on that tradition next year? :) Josh's brother and sis-in-law (Travis and Rhoda) had a precious baby boy, Lincoln, back in May. He was definitely the highlight of our Christmas celebration at the Tummel household! We had breakfast Christmas morning at Larry and Vicki's. Josh must have scared Lincoln...his face is priceless in this pic.

Josh trying to convince Lincoln to crawl to his toy...LOVE his overalls!

Chewin' on his new baseball bat

Rhoda holding Lincoln on top of his mound of toys...the kid totally racked up!

Lincoln got Superman pj's...they even have a cape! Apparently Josh and his brother both had pj's like this growing up, so it's pretty cool that Lincoln now has some too!

Me and the little monkey in our pajamas on Christmas night

Christmas day around lunch we always eat with my mom's side of the family. My grandmother hasn't felt up to cooking for several years, so my Aunt Pam (my mom's twin sister) cooks up a yummy meal (and lots of Christmas candy) and we celebrate at her house in Claxton. My cousin Kara and her husband Larry sitting by the fireplace.

We have taken this exact same picture for years and years. Lacey, me and Kara in front of the Christmas tree. We're all 3 less than a year apart in age.

Grandmother and Granddaddy Hall with my Aunts Peggy, Prissy and Pam. My mom has been "home" celebrating Christmas with Jesus since 1996.

Two pics of Josh and I this Christmas! I think it's a record!

Zac and Shane

We had a wonderful Christmas celebration with all of our families, but we were soooo exhausted and ready to come back to our home in Chattanooga by the end of the weekend. I STILL don't feel like I'm caught up here at home, but at least I've done all my laundry and put away my Christmas decorations. Linus and Lucy were exhausted too.

My sweet furbabies in the back of the car coming home. The cute blanket was part of their Christmas gift from "Gram." They LOVE soft blankets...they will pull them out of my basket at home and carry them onto the couch so they can lay on them. What cuties!
