April 2010

With April this year came Easter!  Which means Easter Egg Hunts!  This is the first year Lincoln cared enough to hunt for eggs.  How cute is he?!

And he quickly learned to look for the prizes!

Easter Sunday.  Daddy and Pam in front of their house!

Josh and I in front of Daddy's house

The farm from the back porch...so pretty!  I just wish the mountains would have been a little clearer.  One day I'll get that perfect picture!

Hali Beth's Easter shoes...fabulous!

We made Julie and Jeff do the prom pose.  It was pretty awesome  :)

Nana and her three babies!

Rice Krispy bunny!

She is just as mischevious as she looks!

Chillin' on the swing after the egg hunt!

Coolin' off in the pool with their Easter treats in hand!

Later on in April I had the opportunity to have dinner with one of my PT school comrades, Katie.  We lived and died together for 3 years...but we both survived!  Now we work for rival home health companies.  I wish they lived closer!

Then at the end of April, Daddy and Pam brought a Clampett-style truckload of stuff to our house from my Aunt Maude's.  I'm thankful for all the nice things, but I would much rather have her here with us :(  I miss her so much!

Christmas 2009

I've been procrastinating blogging because I'm so far behind.  So, instead of doing super-comprehensive posts to catch up, I'll hit the high points.  :)  That's just going to have to be okay!  So, we begin with Christmas last year!

Celebration #1 (okay, actually #2 since I had breakfast with my girlfriends Christmas Eve, but I don't have pics of that!) Christmas with my Dad and Pam!

Christmas #2: Talbott family Christmas at my Nana's house! :)

The girls making a Gingerbread house...

Josh trying to convince one of the girls to give him a Christmas kiss...he did NOT succeed. :)

We are all about some group hugs!

My Nana reading the book I made her for Christmas

The 22nd annual Talbott family Nativity play!

Christmas #3: Lunch Christmas day with the Hall family (my mom's family)

We love our grandmother!

Josh and I with Grandmother and Granddaddy

Christmas #4: Hanging out with the Tummel clan (we did have breakfast there Christmas morning, but it's not really a party until the kids show up! ;) Feeding Waylon...how cute is he?

Wild man Lincoln got a chainsaw for Christmas!

Waylon and his Pap!

Aw! So cute!

I found Lincoln a candy "grill." It was like a ring pop. He LOVED it, and we got some fabulous laughs! :)

Mam giving Lincoln some of Josh's Mtn Dew slushie...shame on her!

He did NOT put the chainsaw down all day! It was too cute!

Well, those are the high points of Christmas 2009. Stay tuned for brief updates of our 2010! It was definitely a year of big changes in our family!
