"Daddy of 'em all!" The world's largest outdoor rodeo, Cheyenne, WY

These painted boots were all over town.

Lane Frost, one of the best bull riders in history, who passed away after being trampled by a bull in Cheyenne at Frontier Days.

They had tours a few times a day to go "behind the chutes." This was one of many HUGE bulls we saw there!

Standing in bucking chute #2!

Josh and I before the Taylor Swift/Rascal Flatts concert at "Frontier Nights" in Cheyenne, WY

Taylor Swift! She put on the best show of the entire concert series. My favorite line of hers was when she was introducing her song "Should've said No" :
"This song is about choices, and making the right ones. About listening to your conscience. And more specifically it's about a boy who cheated on me and shouldn't have because I write songs!"
The crowd went nuts...I just loved her! I really liked her before, but now I really have a respect for her attitude and personality. (Not to mention she's a great singer and fantastic song writer!)

I couldn't really get any great pics of Rascal Flatts during the concert, so this is the best I could do! They put on a great show too...I didn't realize just how many hits they had until the concert kept on going, and they were still singing songs I knew. Ask Josh, it's rare that we go to a concert and I know every song. But this time (with Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift) I knew 'em all! I was very proud of myself.

All the cowboys of the PBR!

The flag flying over Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo

This flag once flew over Baghdad, and was sent home by a soldier from WY to be presented at Frontier Days. Yes, I cried.

Percheron geldings...probably the most beautiful (and huge!) horses I've ever seen. The two pictured here are named "Moose" and "Kong." They stand over 6'4" at their shoulders. We got to see them up close later, and Josh was absolutely dwarfed by them. They are gorgeous!

CFD rodeo clowns

A guy from Loudon, TN riding a Bronco...I was so excited that he was from East TN!

Miranda Lambert in concert. I like her music, but I was not impressed...she wanted to talk about lots of "cold beer drinking and partying." Really not impressed.
