Sorry to all those who were insulted by my fall tourist in East TN rant. I just get a little cranky every fall, but I do get over it. For the record, by my definition (and who needs Webster when you have me?) my friends coming to see the leaves (even if they do NOT come to see me...not that I'm offended...truly, I'll get over it in the next 10 years or so) don't officially count as tourists. Are we clear? Stop being offended! In the future, know that when I rant about all the idiots around here, you guys are all exempt from that label no matter what other part of my blog may or may not pertain exactly to you or your current situation. Haha...that was more eloquent (sort of) than I thought it would be. Go me!
Also, for the record, I have chosen CSI on Thursday nights. Grey's just wasn't doing it for me, and they really should have never gone up against CSI. Their loss. (Also, if I watch CSI, I get to snuggle with my hubby on the couch which is nice and toasty in this 30 degree weather we're having tonight. Had I chosen Grey's Anatomy, I would have to watch all alone under 2 blankets and still be cold because my dogs won't even snuggle with me. If he goes, they go too. I mean seriously, it should have never been a debate.)
Today I went shopping...hooray! Shopping with real money that they paid me on Friday! And I bought 2 pairs of shoes. Nice ones. Now I have something besides my one pair of tennis shoes to wear to work. I feel like a new woman. :) I feel guilty in a way for spending so much on shoes, but let's face it people...after making it through the 3 years of hell that we call PT school, I deserve 2 new pairs of shoes! Next I'll get some new clothes (which I already did once before with my 1st paycheck), but for this month I've already blown my clothing budget. Yes, we keep a very strict budget. As foreign as the concept is to me after the last 3 years, we're actually trying to save money every month. So far, not much luck, but this is only month 1 with two incomes. Hopefully it will get better...if I can curb my quickly developing spending habits for clothes and shoes...

I know what you mean. I've already been shoe and clothes shopping. Although I have a budget for it, I feel guilty about buying stuff for me because I'm used to the last 3 years where I had to wear clothes that I've had since high school...
