Hospice

Just wanted to let everyone know that Sharon has now moved to Hospice. We were able to transfer her over yesterday afternoon late. She is in St. Mary's Hospice, room 115. It is a very nice facility and we hope that she will be very comfortable there. As far as Sharon's condition - there are new tumors showing up every day. They now have found one in her right shoulder, between the ball and socket area, which is causing her a great deal of pain. She also has one in her right elbow. She has received all the radiation treatments and I'm saddened to say that things from this point could go rather quickly. Again, our Great Maker is the one in charge of this situation, so there is no way for any of us to predict when things will happen.

I do encourage each of you to take some time and go to see Sharon very soon, if you wish to see her. We are all different and respond to our emotions differently, but I don't want anyone to have any regrets. Sharon has been a tremendous blessing to us all and her faith through this very difficult time has never waivered. What a testimony of God's love she has been to us! We also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that stopped in to see Sharon while she was at Park West. Sharon has shared with us many conversations and visits that she shared with each of you and she feels very blessed to have so much support.

Also, a huge thanks to those women that came and stayed the night during her stay at Park West. Nights certainly seem to be harder for Sharon and we so appreciate all the help she received and the sacrifices that you made from your own family time. Thank you. As the weeks go forth - we will do our best to send updates to you. However, if we fall short, please do not hesitate to give us a call to check in on Sharon. If we do not answer, please leave us a message and we'll call you back as soon as we are able.

Also, I would like to remind everyone of the fund we established for Sharon at ORNL Federal Credit Union. PLEASE if you are unable to contribute, do not feel obligated to do so. We simply mention this again in an effort to make sure the word gets around. There are folks along this journey that have truly wanted to find a way to contribute and before now there really wasn't a need. We just want to make sure folks have the opportunity to so if they wish.

With warm regards,

Bill and Tamara
