I know they say to "never say never," but we'll see how it works out...
1. I will never enjoy cleaning my house (even though I feel so good when it's done).
2. I will never ask someone if they're pregnant just because they're married and gained 5 pounds.
3. I will never feel sorry for someone just because they lost a loved one to cancer (It sends my blood pressure through the roof when people "feel sorry" for me because my mom died when I was a teenager...I believe in a sovereign God who has a big plan that I can't see just yet.)
4. I will never utter the words "it's going to be okay" when in my heart I know it really won't.
5. I will never have enough money to landscape my house the way I would love for it to be! (seriously, I would spend way more money on plants than the house itself if I could justify it!)
6. I will never love working 40 hours a week.
7. I will never back down when I'm fighting for my patients to get what they really need.
8. I will never regret going to school for 7 years to do something that I really look forward to doing every day.
9. I will never stop loving my husband like mad even when we drive each other nearly mad. ;)
10. I will never have my house as organized as my OCD self would like for it to be.
11. I will never terminate a pregnancy because the doctor says there is something "wrong" with my child. (Again, that whole "sovereign God" thing comes into play.)
12. I will never be rich, but I thank God for his provision in our lives! (Anybody notice how the money always comes just at the right time? :)
13. I will never get rid of my allergies unless I move far far away, but I just don't know if I'm willing to do that just for a few months of not sneezing!
14. I will never paint anything in my house purple (as my Grandmother has said since I was a little girl, "When I was growing up, they buried dead people in purple and put purple flowers on their graves!" I'm sure this is some backwoods mountain culture, but I still feel weird about the color purple.)
15. I will never love anywhere in this world more than Tellico Plains, TN.
16. I will never be able to plan out my life quite as completely as my sovereign God can.
17. I will never want to die, but you can all be assured that whenever the good Lord sees fit to call me home, I am SOOOO ready to go! :)
18. I will never be a smoker...I think that's so nasty!
19. I will never have enough kitchen gadgets...I love to cook!
20. I will never catch up on my sleep, but I've just resigned myself to that at this point. :)
Let me know if you repost this! I want to read your answers...
