1. Hooray for Autumn! Her last MRI showed that her tumor has shrunk by 50%!!!! i got a chance to work with her mom again this week, and it was great to get updates first hand. Keep praying for continued success with chemo.
2. Hooray for Kennedy! She came through surgery like a champ, and so far so good! Keep praying for no infections and no pain as she heals.
3. Josh's knee surgery is scheduled for Thursday, July 31 in the afternoon. Expected recovery time is 3-4 weeks, and even though this is technically minor surgery, there is anesthesia and sharp instruments involved, so please pray for his surgeon, anesthesiologist and a great outcome! (We're hoping they will allow the surgery to be done with an epidural block instead of general anesthesia, so please pray that this will work out as well...anesthesia makes him violently ill for weeks after surgery...both of our lives will be much easier if they use an epidural block.) Thankfully my company has allowed me to take off work Thursday and Friday that week to take care of him (although with the exercises I will make him do, he'll probably try to find me work by the weekend ;) And, we've already met our deductible for the year with that super expensive weekend back in April, so our cost shouldn't be too horrible either! ;)
