I am so very thankful for my family, and thankful that Josh and I both had Friday off so we could spend a long weekend in Maryville! And even though I swore I wouldn't go shopping on Friday, my BFF Leah convinced me it would be a good idea, and I got ALL my Christmas shopping done. Now I just have to decorate my house and wrap everything! Woohoo! :) I left my camera in Chattanooga, so my dad was kind enough to loan me his old digital camera so I could capture a few memories. Here's some pics from our weekend...
First was lunch at the Tummel's house...
First was lunch at the Tummel's house...

Linus eagerly awaiting his arrival to "Gram's house" for lots of turkey!

Sweet Lincoln was asleep before the eating ever started! (I can't believe he's 6 months old!)

Precious baby boy! (My nephew, for the record :)

Larry and Lincoln chilling before lunch

Lucy sacked out after almost a full plate of turkey...compliments of Josh's mom

Larry and Linus completely sacked out on the couch
Now, for the Talbott family celebration...

Poppa, Jay, Jeff and Prater on the computer

Shay, Daddy and Don being silly

This pic is pretty dark, but we were all playing the "Saved by the Bell" boardgame...yes there is such a thing. All the little girls were playing with us older girls since we were all avid watchers in our day! That's Josh hanging his head in the front because we coerced him into playing too...funny thing is that he won! :)

Sweet Gaven (my cousin)...his 1st birthday was Saturday!

Mollee and me...do my eyes look a little glazed after two meals? :)

Me and Aunt Maude...birthday buddies! (She turned 90 this year, and is still living alone and sharp as a tack...I want to be just like her! And I really wish I had her green thumb!)

Pam and I...we each had two meals today...notice the loose clothing... ;)

Zac (my brother) and my Nana! (She's 85, still living alone and sharp as a tack...I hope I take after this side of my family!)

Me and baby Kenley...the newest addition to our family. Look at those jaws! :)
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. I got to eat lunch on Friday with Leah and Kyna (two of my very best friends ever...sadly Bobbi had to work and couldn't join us). We ate at Tomato Head and it was fabulous food and fabulous conversation. We only left (after 2 hours!) because our waiter had been cut and was waiting for us to leave before he could leave. :) To cap off the weekend, the Vols won and I got to be there (freezing my buns off) for Phil Fulmer's last game. To fire him was definitely the right decision, but the game was a little sad...I'm just glad we won! I am blessed beyond measure, and so very thankful for everything that God has given me (including my wonderful husband...I just noticed there are no pics of us together above...I'll have to fix that at Christmas :) Happy Thanksgiving!
