Aunt Maude Update

Apparently dehydration can do CRAZY things to your body. (Such as, make your blood work indicate a heart attack and kidney failure) But, the good news is that once they pumped her full of IV fluids, all is well! Her kidneys and heart are perfectly fine. She does have a tibial plateau fracture, though. She's in a knee immobilizer, but she's been up and walking with a walker. She got transferred to rehab today, and my dad says she's in a great mood and ready to do some thereapy so she can get home! She has steadily improved every day this week. It makes my heart feel so much better to know this! :) Keep it up, Aunt Maude, and you'll be home in time to see your spring flowers bloom!
