Our Anniversary Dinner

On our actual anniversary, I had a long day at work (with LOTS of paperwork still to be completed after I got home) so I didn't want to cook, and I was really too tired to have a big celebration. So, I suggested we go out for pizza. Josh and the guys he works with go eat at Claydough's Pizza *at least* once per week. He keeps talking about how good it is, but I've never had the opportunity to go over there. So, that's where we went for our anniversary. :)

Since Josh is there so often, he's on a first name basis with the man himself, Clay Warren. Clay's wife, Shelly, and 2 kids were there too, and when Shelly found out it was our anniversary, she brought out a candle, so we can say we ate by candlelight. (See it sitting on the napkin stand in the middle of the picture?) I must say, the pizza was EXCELLENT! I tried plain cheese and barbecue chicken pizza. Both were the best I'd had in a while. I would definitely recommend this place if you're anywhere near Chattanooga!

For dessert, he has "Gooie Pie." OH. HAVE. MERCY. Was it tasty! (Certainly not low calorie, but tasty!) There are several options for toppings, but we chose marshmallow cream, peanut butter, crushed Butter Fingers and chocolate chips. He brought it out to us like this, with 4 candles on it! :)

Thanks, Clay! You made our anniversary super tasty!
