Josh is really not a seafood person, so he decided he had enough of the ocean critters for lunch and supper. On our way back from the LL Bean outlet we found this little gem...

Yes, we stopped and ate pulled pork sandwiches for lunch. They were very tasty, which we were not entirely expecting when we stopped there (Maine is not exactly known for their barbeque ;). But, when we found out the owner was from Memphis, we knew we were in good hands. They also had super tasty ice cream and desserts!
As I said we went shopping, and I found a "Life is Good" hat that I loved! I had admired one that Pam had earlier in the week, and even though I love it too, I didn't want to buy the same one. I bought myself the one with the flower on it. When we got back to the hotel, Pam gave me a present of the hat with the pink heart on it...just like hers! And guess what? She bought a flower one for herself. So, now we have 2 matching hats. Great minds, huh? :)

Even though Josh was tired of seafood, I convinced him to go to Stewman's with me because I really wanted lobster bisque soup before I went home. It was unbelievably rich and wonderful!

Finally, there was this sand bar downtown where you could walk out to this island at low tide. We had been unable to catch it at low tide, so this is as close as we got...it wasn't quite low enough to walk all the way across, but we got about halfway. If the water hadn't been 50 degrees, I probably would have taken off my shoes and waded through the water.

It was crazy to me that the floor of the ocean (at least as far as we could see) was covered with little rocks. It looked like a TN river bank to me! We could even find rocks to skip...so we skipped rocks on the Atlantic Ocean until it started raining too hard.

And here's another one of Josh's "peeing" pictures. Again, I promise he's not really peeing...at least I don't think so.

We were bummed this was our last day in Bar Harbor, but excited that we had some time in the morning to drive around a little more before our flight left. Pics from our final day coming up tomorrow...
