I learned that some of my patients (and their family members...and apparently lots of other people too) drive their 4-wheelers everywhere once their drivers licenses get revoked (no, I never ask why they were revoked). I learned this when I asked, "Why are there tracks for 4-wheelers on the side of every road up here?"
I also got 18 mosquito bites (yes, I counted them) below both knees as I worked in my garden tonight. I finally got the soaker hose set up, so it will make watering much easier. I suppose that was worth all those itchy bites.
And the neighbor kids came over to play with the dogs while I was working in the garden. These are the same socially awkward but very sweet kids that I've talked about before. (No, Steph, they were not in too-short red sweatpants. :) They asked me where Josh was, so I told them, "He's at a friend's house playing video games."
They proceeded to tell me that "Video games will make you stupid like the devil. That's what our karate teacher tells us." Haha! Just thought you should know.
