As I consider laying down for a Sunday afternoon nap, I thought I should update on all my happenings this week. Work is really great! So far I'm loving it. Of course there have been many times that I just feel like a moron because I'm still learning where everything is, and how they manage paperwork and all that good stuff. But overall it's really good! I really like everyone I'm working with, so that definitely helps! I got a big newsflash on Friday that I'll be the only PT in the office next Tuesday...holy moly! That makes me a nervous wreck! It'll just be me and 1 secretary. I'm not sure how they feel that I'm ready for this just because I passed a test 2 weeks ago! Craziness! Hopefully it will be a decently uneventful day. We'll all keep our fingers crossed for that.
I got a new car on Friday!!!! My Daddy promised me way back in the day that when I finally graduated for the last time he would buy me a car...and he did! :) I picked up my brand spankin' new 2007 Toyota Camry on Friday at lunch. I'll put in some pictures when I figure out how to link my digital camera to the computer. haha. It's so pretty! And it's definitely a far cry from my 10 year old Camry that I was driving. I miss the old car for sentimental reasons, but I'm so pumped about the new one! Thanks Daddy!
And on a more somber note, UT lost to Florida last night. It was a very sad day. To be fair, it was a good ballgame to watch (albeit some really weird calls were made, but whatever...), but the ending was not so great. We lost 21-20. We showed a bit of our old team. Not too much, but just enough to help us lose the game. And where the crap was our offensive line on half of the offensive plays? I'm wondering if Ainge ticked 'em off, and they just laid down so he'd get chased around immediately after he got the ball. Seriously, it looked like they weren't even on the field on a couple plays. Hopefully we'll make a few adjustments over the next few games and get back on track before we have another SEC game. K, enough with the ranting. The game was on CBS which means that I didn't get home until really really late because they love their commercial time outs at CBS. I need a nap before I start gearing up for the week.
