Okay Judy, I've been a blogging procrastinator. I'll admit it. I was just glad my computer had saved my login info, otherwise there would be no more blogging for me. I can't believe it's really been since November...time flies! Okay...quick update since last November...I ended up with pneumonia in December right before Christmas. I really didn't feel that bad, my asthma was just bothering me a little, so I went to the doctor so he would write me a prescription for an inhaler b/c mine was expired like a year ago. They insisted on a chest x-ray, and boy did it look terrible! That also explained why I had been requiring 10-12 hours of sleep a night...I just attributed it to getting used to working a new job. Next time I'll pay more attention to myself. (For the record, I never had a fever, and I never coughed or anything...just got really really tired). After three rounds of antibiotics (yeah, my GI system was loving that until April or so), I felt a bit better. I never felt 100% until March. Craziness, huh? That's my excuse for not blogging until then. I literally came home and went to bed almost every day. As for the time from then until now, I don't have an excuse...sorry! :) Although I have been loving working outside and playing softball.
This year I completely redid my herb garden. For those of you interested in planting one...don't EVER plant herbs in the ground. They will take over EVERYTHING. I mean, they will grow out into your yard and everywhere. Don't worry if you have a black thumb...you can't kill 'em. I had a huge mess to clean up in one of my flower beds this spring because I ignored the herbs in the winter and apparently it never got cold enough to kill them like it was supposed to. They just kept growing until I had enough cilantro and mint to feed a small country. It was madness when I finally decided I had to intervene. So, many hours of work later, the bed has been covered in plastic and rock, and herbs are planted in cute little pots. That way they can't take over again. (Although last week I had to use weed killer on some mint that was coming up underneath the plastic...ah!) Despite the craziness I must say that gardening is my most favorite thing about having a house! You can't tell if you drive by because we ripped all the shrubs out of the front beds last year and I still haven't replaced them because I'm indecisive, but when I finally do make up my mind and convince Josh to spend a small fortune, I'm sure it will be fabulous! I do have hanging baskets on my porch, so that has to count for something! :) Oh! And we have rocking chairs on the front porch that Josh's parents bought us for Christmas...what a fabulous present is that?! I was so pumped!
I'm out of material for now, but Judy, I hope that satisifies you for a little while. I'll try to be better from now on!

Welcome back, Leslie! Sorry to hear about your three month pneumonia, but I'm glad you're feeling better. I was up in your neck of the woods this week on my family vacation. We were in Pigeon Forgem, but on the way back we went through Maryville. I though about calling you, but it was Thursday at about 3 in the afternoon. I figured you would be at work, so I didn't call... But I did drive by Maryville College. It's a pretty campus! I miss you and look forward to catching up on you with future posts.
