Thank you, but I'm not pregnant

My prediction was soooo right. And of all people, the first comment came from my brother! You would think he'd know better. For the record, I gained almost 10 pounds on those nasty 'roids, but I've lost 4 of them already. Yes, I feel like a heifer even though Josh is being really sweet and says he can't tell (yeah, right). Anywhoo...since the vertigo thing, they decided at work that I'm definitely pregnant and the blood test from the ER and my doctor's visit was wrong. So, I took a home pregnancy test and took a picture so they could see that it's negative. They said it was wrong too. This is seriously getting old, people! (And, you're seriously making me paranoid!) So, stop asking. Yes, we've been married 3 years. Yes, everybody else in my family procreates within the first year of marriage. No, that does not mean that I EVER intended to follow that trend. Yes, both of our parents are ready for grandchildren. No, they do not intend to pay for their upkeep nor provide daily daycare service, so they'll have to wait until we're ready for that responsibility (do you really think I wouldn't ask when they started putting the pressure on?) Yes, both of our parents did, in fact, wait 6-7 years after marriage before having children. Yes, that's the trend we intend to follow. Yes, for the record, I am still taking birth control and numerous other meds for my asthma that would seriously disable a child, therefore, until I can come off those meds or modify them, we will not be having children. I don't like the idea of toying with a child's future like that. Thank you so so much for your concern, but frankly, it's none of your damn business.

This has become my response to the question, "When are you having kids?"

WHEN PEOPLE LIKE YOU STOP ASKING ME THAT QUESTION!!!!

Is that too harsh?

my answer of "just as soon as I get rid of this nasty fungus" usually works...

I solemnly swear to never ask you that question! ;) Just remember that some antibiotics counteract birth control pills. I know from experience... named Kassidy. :)

I think that is a PERFECT answer! Stick with your guns girly and you'll do just fine.
